Bodhgaya Biennale is produced and owned by CANVAS, Centre for Visual Culture, Patna. CANVAS is a not for profit artist group. It has been organizing various activities pertaining to visual arts & culture in the state of Bihar for quite some time. Its sole ambition is to provide appropriate platform to the Local, National and international artists to share, to discuss their artistic expression, their experience with artists and art lovers.
It also works to bring out the hidden talents of young & upcoming local artists of our soil in collaboration with the established & seasoned ones. In pursuit of fulfilling its ambitions, CANVAS has performed various activities from time to time; it has been publishing an art magazine as well viz. ‘Kala Canvas’. We have started one artist space in Patna with studio, Display and Screening room for unique Cultural Experience. We also are delighted to acknowledge that CANVAS has been a partner of India Art Fair since 2012.
